“The Band Foster. An artistic project brought forth to ensure that rock and its subsidiaries survive a lonely road of musical deprivation and ingenuous experimental ideas, which only the brightest people, who are called musicians, can present.” J. Fossy 2008 In the summer of 2005, Ethyl, Foster’s former band, departed ways leaving Foster to decide the future of his musical career. During that time, Foster decided to once again start making music and in the spring of 2006, Foster wrote and recorded his new album demo at his home studio. Upon mixing tracks for the upcoming demo, Ed Dzwonkowski of Follow Your Plan, Inc. came across Foster’s music on the internet and communicated the proposal of signing him to his label. Soon after accepting Dzwonkowski’s proposal, Foster teamed up with producer’s Rye Randa and Pat Bautz to create a new album titled “Believe” set to be released in early 2009. The Band Fosters’ music consists of melodic rhythms and meaningful lyrics. The premise of the bands’ music pertains to life itself and the poetic lyrics which surround the music is vital for the success of rock in the future. The bands’ passion for success and musical appreciation comes from each member’s idea of diversity. Foster has performed with numerous national recording artists like Dexter Freebish, Saliva, Local H, Stroke 9 and The All American Rejects. Foster performed on Houston’s alternative rock station 94.5 The Buzz’s Seven Days of Spring Break, 94.5 The Buzz’s New Year’s Eve Houston party and 94.5 The Buzz’s, The Texas Buzz.
